"But Aren't All The Good Domain Names Already Gone?"
Not at The Domain Finder! Domain names—great domain names, perfect for your new venture—are still available. You just need to know how to find them. And because you've come to The Domain Finder, the process is easy—and assured (subject to the Terms of Service and Limited Warranty). For a very small investment, I will provide you with between three and ten available domains I believe are suited to your business. It's easy, it's quick—and if I can't supply at least three choices, you don't pay. If you want, I can even register the domain for you.
How to Find Terrific Domain Names, Even With Millions of Websites Already Up and Running
Hundreds, maybe even thousands of excellent domain names have never been purchased, just because nobody's ever thought of them. Others were registered and abandoned, and they're up for grabs. Which one of those names, waiting for the right person, will be the address for your "new baby"—the business you've been so eagerly waiting to start?

I'm here to help you with this process. My name is Shel Horowitz, and I've run a marketing consulting and copywriting business since 1981. The Domain Finder is a website dedicated exclusively to helping you find an excellent domain name for your website.
I set up The Domain Finder because I've helped a lot of my marketing clients find great domains, and yet I keep hearing variants on "all the good domain names are gone." I thought it would be fun to prove the naysayers wrong with a service focused just on finding domains—and when I looked around, it didn't seem like anyone else was offering this service.
I've been online since 1994 (not counting a "brief fling" with a painfully slow 300 bps modem back in 1987). I got my first domain in 1995, and I still operate it. In fact, it gets at least 50,000 visitors every month, and often much more. Sometime around 1996 or 1997 I helped another business find the right domain name for the first time, and I've been doing it ever since, as part of the marketing consulting and copywriting I've been doing for over 20 years. I've been naming businesses and products long before domain names were an issue. My fifth book, Grassroots Marketing: Getting Noticed in a Noisy World, lists domain name availability as one of the eight factors you should consider when naming a product or business.
I've written five books on marketing effectively, ethically, and affordably, including the Apex Award winner, Principled Profit: Marketing that Puts People First. And I love the Internet because it gives us ordinary folks a powerful marketing engine that allows us to not only compete with, but actually do better than, well-funded large corporations. On the Internet, it's actually an advantage to be small and nimble.
And I definitely see getting a great domain name as a marketing function. In fact, I wrote about this back in 1998. The right domain will help you a whole lot.

Why a Great Domain Is Important
A great domain name is crucial for success on the Internet. Why? Here are a few of the reasons.
- A great domain name instantly tells people what you do and why they should visit, and/or reinforces the brand of your organization, product, or service
- When you give your domain out in a radio interview, you want people to remember it long enough to visit
- You'll use your new domain name in all your other advertising and marketing, so you want it to be easy to remember
- If some one asks you for a business card and you've run out, just give your URL (Web address)
- The right domain can significantly boost your placement on search engines
- A strong domain sets you apart from all those people with a weak or generic domain, or worse, a domain on a free site with lots of ads and no credibility
- Once you have a domain name of your own, you can have a permanent e-mail address (or several), even if you change ISPs—just think, no more sifting through your address book trying to notify everyone that you've changed your address!
